Given a crowded weather market and increasing domestic saturation, we turned our attention to user engagement and retention. We delivered results by investing in more personalized weather experiences, mobile push notifications, global expansion, and innovative new features.

Agenday is a business calendar app that allows customers to easily connect to conference calls and virtual meetings with one touch. The app appeals to enterprises because it manages conference call costs by dynamically identifying the lowest cost dial-in phone number. We designed, developed, and delivered this innovative mobile app with a small team in just 6 months.

Project | 03 iMeet
iMeet provides personal meeting rooms where users can talk through their computers from anywhere in the world. We evolved the avatar with the creation the iMeet cube. Each meeting-goer gets a cube to share her bio, photo, and social networking profiles. The experience goes beyond a voice on the phone because webcam is included and when somebody talks, their cube glows.

Project | 04 Meetsee
The Meetsee Virtual Office makes it easy for co-workers to communicate, share files, collaborate, and get to know each other in virtual offices and meeting rooms. Users instinctively know to click on the filing cabinet to find a file or leave a note on the message board. We made each virtual office unique by allowing users to personalize the layout and furniture and even updating the weather and time of day outside the office window.

Kinnection provides families with a safe place to share memories, stay connected, and preserve family history. It combines the best of social networking, blogging, and scrapbooking in an innovative way that puts households at the center of the experience. I created a virtual family fridge to serve as the hub for communication and included a family newsletter, notes, shared calendar, polls, and photokins.

Project | 06 MSN Messenger
MSN Messenger connects customers to the people they care most about. After conducting extensive focus groups around the world, we invested in more expressive and emotional ways for people to interact, including custom emoticons, animated winks, and enhanced avatars. We drove revenue by transforming the simple buddy icon into a fully customizable and animated avatar.
